Product identification and preforming
In this first step, the Spider Case Packer prepares your form-fit products per layer according to the stacking pattern you choose. We call this pre-forming.
Uptake
The robot picks up the packs, layer by layer after preforming (for form-fast products) or one by one directly from the infeed conveyor (for non-form-fast products such as bags).
Packing in the box
The robot arm moves with your products to the box in a fluid motion and places them there carefully and accurately, again according to the packing pattern of your choice.
Box closing and labelling
The Spider Case Packer automatically closes the box flaps, with tape or glue. After possibly checking the weight and applying a label, the system disposes of the filled boxes.

Contact
Contact Spider Robots for help with your packing challenge. Provide us with information such as the available space, the products you want to pack and the desired speeds. On this basis, we will work out a no-obligation proposal.
2D lay-out
Based on your input, we develop 2D drawings with different set-ups. We provide these with a concise description, detailed pricing and examples of similar installations we have installed in your sector.
3D technical design
Based on your feedback, we make any adjustments to our proposal. We combine all agreements made and known data in a project file. We also go through this together. We then use it for a technical 3D design. This gives you an idea of your new installation.
Production
We make all the components for your installation. We also work out the line controls. We then build the entire installation, including all peripherals, in our factory.
Factory Acceptance Test
You provide us with the products you want to process. We use these to extensively test the installation in our workshop. This gives you the opportunity to see the entire line at work beforehand.
Disassembly, transport, assembly, start-up and training
Our technicians dismantle the installation, transport it to your premises and rebuild it in exactly the same way. Thanks to the FAT, installation and start-up require a minimum of time. In addition, we train your employees to work with the new system.
After-sales service
You choose whether to maintain the automatic packing robot yourself or outsource that task to us. Cameras in the installation allow us to remotely monitor operation in real time and solve any problems. In addition, our experienced service team is always on hand.
